The BLS Council oversees the Society’s affairs and finances.
An AGM is held on a Saturday early each year, and all members are very welcome to attend.
The Conservation Committee has a broad remit to further lichen conservation by promoting surveys, publishing reports and by raising awareness of conservation issues.
The Data Committee is responsible for a wide range of technical developments in the society.
The Education and Promotions Committee works to raise the awareness and understanding of lichens at all levels, whilst providing opportunities to connect like-minded individuals with an interest in lichens.
