This Committee is chaired by the Treasurer and deals with a wide range of financial issues. In particular it formulates the Financial Strategy, which is revised annually and includes:
- a financial reserves strategy (required by the Charity Commissioners), which assesses our reserves and their purpose, together with plans for long term investments;
- an income strategy, detailing our main sources of income and how we intend to secure and develop them;
- general financial management; how much we spend on running the financial affairs of the Society efficiently and how much we can afford to expend annually on projects;
- an expenditure strategy outlining timescales and cash-flows for major projects in the foreseeable future.
