Event Description:
Meeting of LISS (lichens in South East Scotland)
Date: Tuesday April 11th
Time: starting at 10 am with the day finishing at approximately 15.30
Location: Cademuir Hill and farm, Wellbush Ruin
A return to this location for the LISS group to search for lichens new to the area and for people to work on improving their knowledge of the lichens present.
Highlights from the visits in 2022 included Calvitimela aglaea, Lasallia pustulata, Miriquidica leucophaea, Rimularia intercedens, Xanthoparmelia conspersa & mougeotii, and Xanthoria elegans.
