Wessex Lichen Group
Location: Shortheath Common, East Hampshire
Date: 29th December
Time: Meet at 10.30
Meeting place: main car park by the pond at SU7749 3690
Details: This is a stunningly rich lichen heath, which was looked at briefly during the BLS autumn meeting, but needs much more work. Bring lunch and warm clothing, the lichen rich areas are on dry sandy ground but there are wet areas on the common.
