Suffolk Lichen Group
Location: Bradfield Wood, Felsham Road, Bradfield St George, TL935581, what3words: water.grass.ambitions
Time: 10am to 3pm
The inaugural field meeting of the Suffolk Lichen Group will convene at Bradfield Wood. Now in the care of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Bradfield is one of Suffolk's flagship ancient woodlands, having been under continuous coppice since the 13th century. There are only a handful of records for this wood dating from the 1970s, and we expect to expand the species list from the site considerably.
Details: There is free parking and toilets on site. Please dress appropriately for outdoors and bring a picnic lunch and hand-lens. Spare hand-lenses will be available.
