BLS Spring Meeting 2027 

Location: Burnham, Norfolk

Date: 13th to 19th April 2027

The last BLS meeting in Norfolk was based in Kings Lynn in 1968. This is a wonderful opportunity to boost the records for this corner of the UK. Although outcrops are in short supply there is an abundance of ancient buildings, old and ancient trees on large estates, coastal dunes and shingle along with areas of lowland heath.

Meeting Base: The meeting is based at Deepdale Rooms and Camping, Burnham PE31 8DD. The BLS has booked all

Accommodation and costs

Accommodation comprises 16 rooms in total, 12 of the rooms are en-suite. The total number of places available will depend on the number of couples and those willing to share. Rooms with shared facilities are £52 pppn, en-suite rooms are £65 pppn. 

This meeting is self-catering; there is a large well-equipped kitchen and dining area, the living room will be used for microscopes. The building has underfloor heating and drying facilities. Camping is available on site for those wishing to tent or sleep in their van.

And pay a deposit of £50 in to the BLS Bank Account, CAF Bank sort code 40-52-40 Account No.00012363 and reference the payment SPR27.

Microscope Work

Meeting rooms has been reserved for the duration of the meeting for microscope work and presentations. The BLS microscopes will be available for communal use.
