Meet outside Hampstead Heath Overground station (a few minutes walk from Belsize Park tube station). Bring packed lunch. Toilets.
Nearest car park is East Heath car park, NW3 1TH, but be warned, this is very expensive (£9 for 4 hours).
London Natural History Society has been recording the flora and fauna of Hampstead Heath, only 6km from the centre of London, for many decades but up-to-date information on its lichens is needed. Everyone welcome, no knowledge of lichens required.
