Cennau Cymru field meeting

Meet at the car park on the B4391 overlooking Rhaeadr y Cwm at SH 7358 4170 (see attached map, circled in red).
This will be primarily to identify and record upland lichens on rocky outcrops to the north of Llyn y Morynion. Although we will stay within a kilometer or so of the car park, this is rough country so appropriate footwear and clothing will be essential, also packed lunch and warm drink.
In the event of bad weather, we will use an alternative, more sheltered site at Coed Cymerau, on the A496 south of Tanygrisiau, where there is parking in a large layby at SH 6938 4316. This is circled in red on the second map (click on map to toggle between the two). I will let you know on Thursday evening which venue we will be using.
