This meeting gives the opportunity to visit new habitats and encounter a diverse range of substrates. The locations include: La Vall de la Castellfollit with siliceous rocks and Pine and Oak forest, Pyrenees Tossa d’Apl, a calcareous range, Monserrat with its famous conglomerates, La Vallde la Pena calcareous and siliceous substrates with Pines and Oak, La Segarra Tora with an interesting terricolous flora on Chalk and a visit to the Prades Mountains to conclude the week.
Meeting Base & Accommodation
The meeting base is Hostel de Senglar in Espluga del Francoli. Single, twin/double and Family are all available, costs are 42, 66 & 78 € respectively. Meal prices are; Breakfast 6€, Picnic 10€ and Dinner 15€.
A large microscope room and meeting room is available to us.
Transport
The local organisers have suggested that we hire a mini bus for the duration of our stay, the cost of this is 600€ per day. We will make a decision about transport one we have an idea of numbers.
