Mycoglaena acuminans

A non-lichenised fungus found growing on the bark of canopy branches of pine trees, usually just below where the needles stop. The perithecia have a green tinge and the spores are muriform. Probably much under recorded. See http://fungi.myspecies.info/all-fungi/mycoglaena-acuminans
