General Description
Parasitic on the Endangered Gyalolechia fulgens (Fulgensia fulgens), with black perithecia immersed in the host. Recorded from Gyalolechia fulgens populations in the north coast of Cornwall and on the south coast of Pembroke.

Threats & Status
Given the same threat level as its host, Endangered as it is dependant on the health of the host populations. Threats to the host include vegetation over growth due to the decline of extensive grazing on coastal habitats and trampling damage to the habitat from recreational use.
