General Description
A hyphomycetes fungus parasitising Mycoblastus affinis (in Switzerland) and Mycoblastus caesius (Britain), froming blackish, superficial, sporodochia, producing aseptate, ellipsoidal and medium brown conidia (4.7–) 5.0–6.0 (–7) × (3.8–) 4.2–5.0 (–6.5) μm (Diederich et al, 2024). In Britain collected twice from Mycoblastus caesius in upland temperate rainforests in Dendles Wood, Dartmoor, Devon (2026) and Coed Ganllwyd, Merioneth, North Wales (2005). May be rare and threatened, or could be overlooked but still likely to be Notable.
