Cercidospora verrucosaria

Parasitic on Megaspora verrucosa, with perithecia embedded in the apothecia of the host. Collected from the Ben Lawers area in the 19th century but not seen since. Should be looked out for on the host which is itself a rather rare lichen of high quality calcareous habitats.
