General Description

A basidiomycete fungus characterised by smooth, shiny, whitish, shortly ellipsoid bulbils, covered by minuscule hair-like cells, over growing epiphytic lichens and bryophytes. So far only recorded from temperate rainforests in Britain, so potentially a species of conservation value.
