Area: Strathclyde, mostly within the catchment area of the river Clyde
Description: the group aims to promote an interest in lichens and particularly to record and identify those found in VCs 75,76,77and 99: Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire. Anyone interested in lichens, from beginners to the more experienced are welcome to attend the meetings.
Field Trips: trips are held most months, generally on a Tuesday or Thursday within easy reach of Glasgow. Trips will be advertised on the BLS event calendar.
History: The group had its first meeting as an informal group in February 2024 and since then has held field trips in varying locations across the region.
