Description:
The Cumbria Lichen and Bryophyte Group was formed in early 2020 to follow on from the Plantlife Looking Out for Small Things project that trained new lichenologists and bryologists. The group welcomes beginners on trips and will offer help eg through the Cumbria Lichens Facebook group.
The group is free to join: an unincorporated association with a small constitution and committee, with basic insurance cover for trips (thanks to the BLS).
Meetings:
Field trips are usually held monthly throughout the year. Please visit their website for details. Trips should also be listed on the BLS event calendar.
