A full-day meeting to record lichens at Roystone Rocks, Ballidon. This well known landscape-feature of hilltop outcrops and pavement of dolomitised carboniferous limestone have not, to the best of our knowledge, been studied for lichens.
Meet at 10.30am at grid ref SK194581. This is the Mininglow car park about 1km south of Pikehall which on the A5012 (the Newhaven to Cromford road). The car park is free (no toilets). The rocks are about a 1.5km walk south of the car park.

As usual people with all levels of experience are welcome. Strong footwear and waterproof clothing are recommended. Bring a hand-lens, lunch and drinks.
